Y&R, August 19: Diane Plans a Romantic Escape With Jack
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 19, have Diane taking Jack on a romantic trip, Holden fighting his attraction to Claire, and Phyllis giving Cane unsolicited advice.
What’s next on The Young and the Restless
Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman)’s attempt to turn their trip to Nice into a belated honeymoon met with failure, given the unpleasantness that went down at Cane’s chateau. Three people died, and guests were trapped for what seemed like weeks without cell service.
On Tuesday’s show, watch for Diane to perhaps attempt to rectify her last journey with Jack by taking him on a romantic trip. Diane and Jack aren’t just a couple that works together. They’re very much in love, and Diane is making sure her husband knows just how much she cares about him.
Keep Holden on
Holden (Nathan Owens) has been dealt a series of tough blows recently. He lost his job, and he also lost his best friend when Damian (Jermaine Rivers) was killed in France. Holden does have an alliance with Cane (Billy Flynn), so he may not be in financial trouble. However, Damian would probably give up all his worldly goods in exchange for his buddy coming back to life.
On Tuesday’s show, watch for Holden to fight his attraction to Claire (Hayley Erin). Will Claire help him in this effort? She’s determined to give some payback to Audra (Zuleyka Silver) because she was in cahoots with Victor (Eric Braeden) to make Kyle (Michael Mealor) look bad. Will Holden’s attraction to Claire play into her plan to get even with Audra?
Workplace faux pas
On Tuesday’s show, watch for Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to give Cane some unsolicited advice. She’s already overstepped her authority by lying to Billy (Jason Thompson) that Cane doesn’t want him around. That’s strike one. Cane’s the boss. Phyllis would do well to give Cane advice when he asks for it. Phyllis wants to ally herself with the billionaire so that she can emerge as a respected power player in Genoa City. If Cane doesn’t like the advice that Phyllis is going to give him, she could be the one who finds herself on the unemployment line!
