A’ja Wilson’s Olympic style is going viral — with an assist from Steph Curry.
The WNBA star attracted some interest for her patriotic fashion at the start of the Paris Olympics, showing off a pair of Olympic ring sunglasses that Wilson said came as a gift from the Golden State Warriors star.
“thx @StephenCurry30 for the shades,” Wilson wrote in a post on X showing off her new fashion accessory.
Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces star and two-time WNBA MVP, is looking to wear some gold in a few weeks as she seeks to lead Team USA to another title. Wilson was part of the squad that won gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
Curry will be representing Team USA for the first time since the 2014 FIBA World Cup, with injuries keeping him out of previous Summer Games.
Curry and Wilson were both dressed for the occasion on Friday, sporting their red, white, and blue sportscoats as they represented Team USA at the opening ceremonies in Paris.
