Salman Khan is expected to shoot action sequences of Sikandar on a Dharavi set. The AR Murugadoss directorial is set for an Eid 2025 release.
Salman Khan recently resumed the shoot of his upcoming film Sikandar. The Bollywood superstar has collaborated with filmmaker AR Murugadoss for his next movie. Despite his rib injury, Salman is back on the set for a schedule, that is expected to last for 45 days. Amid the ongoing shoot, a new development regarding Sikandar has surfaced online. Salman will be shooting for his action sequence on a Dharavi set. The makers have replicated the location in Goregaon.
Salman Khan’s Sikandar update
According to a Mid-Day report, the makers of Sikandar have designed a massive set replicating Dharavi at a venue in Goregaon. Salman will be shooting for action sequences there. For the next few weeks, the shoot will take place at two key locations: SRPF ground in Goregaon and a hospital in Marol.
“A chunk of the film is set against these two backdrops. Over the next fortnight, Salman and Murugadoss will wrap up a significant portion of the actioner. Shooting is on in full swing. The leading man has some elaborate action set pieces that will be shot at the Dharavi set,” a source told the tabloid.
The source further revealed AR Murugadoss has worked out everything so that Salman Khan can pull off his fight sequences in the movie. As per the report, the team of Sikandar is filming with Salman between 4 pm to 10 pm for light action. On the other hand, his body doubles are being used for other shots and stunts. “The fight sequences to be performed by Salman will be shot at a later stage,” the source added.
Sikandar star cast and release date
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has come on board for the AR Murugadoss directorial. She will be working with Khan for the first time. The star cast also includes Prateik Babbar and Sathyaraj.
